This magnificent 18th century Vari coloured gold snuff box was made in Paris in 1764 and has been made to the very highest quality. It has round reserves to each panel featuring gardening and music trophies in yellow, red, and white gold.
The cover and base have a fluted ray ground and fluted entwined scroll borders with stipple ground and the sides
have been chased with fabulous drapery swags.
