This is a magnificent ewer made in London in 1827 by Paul Storr. After Storr left Rundell, Bridge & Rundell in 1819 he was able to be a lot more creative in his designs and throughout the 1820s and 1830s he became well known for these fabulous rococo inspired pieces, just like this ewer. It is decorated over almost the entire surface to the highest quality with a wonderful marine inspired dolphin handle and shell lid.
