This magnificent pair of snuffer trays was made by William Stroud in London in 1804. Pairs of snuffer trays of this exceptional quality are, unsurprisingly, rare, and this is a particularly fabulous example. They are of outstanding quality and gauge, and have survived in remarkably fine original condition. Both trays bear a matching engraved crest to the centre.
